Procedures for Becoming a Member
Make an application for the specific category of membership
to: The Director, Songtsen Library. The application must be
accompanied by a proper valid identification with two photos
(passport, official ID, etc.) When your application is accepted,
deposit the specified fee at the Accountant’s office.
You will then be issued a Membership Card to and borrowing.

Sponsorship
Any individual or institution can become a Sponsorship Member
by making a one time contribution of US $ 300 for overseas residents
or Rs. 10,000/- for residents of South Asian countries. This
Sponsorship Member fee will be used towards the purchasing of
additional books and the general maintenance of the library.
Sponsorship Members will enjoy full use of the library’s
resources, receive an annual newsletter and a 10% discount on
the library’s publications.

g) A Private working desk in the Library’s basement is
provided for scholars who do not wish to be disturbed.
